The Band

He is thankful for a broad musical experience. Darrin can’t remember a time when he did not have a guitar in his hands. Darrin has a love for all genres of music and is fluent in Rock, Jazz, Classical and Finger Style playing. When he is not playing with The Faux Minx, Darrin plays solo gigs in and around Lancaster. He also has a full roster of students that he teaches.

Mike Mink has been playing piano for twenty-five years and just recently finished a nine year stint at the American Music Theatre. Mike has played locally with bands like Jack Shift and The Sleeping World. If you have ever been to a Phillies game, it was Mike Mink that you heard playing the National Anthem. Mike’s influences are many, but the most notable ones are Herbie Hancock and Bill Evans.

The drums for have been a life long passion, “I feel very much at home when I am playing and a love the essecence of Latin and Jazz.” Matt’s most notable influence would definitely be Clyde Lucas. Matt studied with Clyde Lucas for about six years.

Bush three times in 2004 and McCain in 2008. David is very actively involved with the local music scene in Lancaster recording, producing and playing with local musicians.
